Poe is most relevant when the user does not only want one assistant, but wants optionality across models and interaction styles. It sits in a different part of the chatbot category because the value is not just the chat itself, but the ability to switch, compare, and explore multiple model behaviors in one place.

The real decision is whether that flexibility is useful enough to simplify a user’s workflow instead of creating more choice overhead. If multi-model comparison matters, Poe belongs in the shortlist.
